چکیده
Landfill leachate is regarded as a significant point source of pollutants that may pose hazard to the environment, particularly surface and ground waters. Leachates are highly variable heterogeneous. Our study was focused on characterization landfill leachates derived from young (YDS) matured (MDS) dumpsites in terms abundance micropollutants, antimicrobial resistance genes (ARG), microbial community structure. The concentrations poly- perfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs) were found be higher MDS compared YDS, i.e., 13.19 7.16 μg/L, respectively. Among pharmaceutical compounds, ibuprofen detected at highest concentrations, 12.54, 12.81, 13.13 MDS, ponds. distribution bacteria, archaea, eukaryotes, viruses three samples follows: 85.15 ÷ 88.04%, 9.13 12.29%, 2.20 2.68%, 0.12 0.15%, In total, 31 distinct families ARGs identified, comprising total 80 ARGs. Incubation P. putida MSCL650 sterile pond resulted decreasing minimum inhibitory for six antibiotics cells incubated nutrient broth. Hydrological processes, runoff infiltration, can increase dissemination

Assessment of Heavy Metals and Organics in Municipal Solid Waste Leachates from Landfills with Different Ages in Jordan
A comprehensive assessment of heavy metals and organic content was performed for leachates produced from a number of old and new landfills in Jordan over 9 month in efforts to set a framework for treatment regulations. All leachates were basic (pH = 7 9) and have high electric conductivity and high organic contents (COD = 3000 500,000 mg/L, TOC= 500 21,000 mg/L). The organic content was inverse...

The toxicity of leachates from two municipal solid waste (MSW) landfills in Southern Italy was characterized using a toxicity identification evaluation procedure. The chemical and physical fractionation techniques were: pH adjustment, pH adjustment/filtration, pH adjustment/C(18) solid phase extraction, graduated pH and EDTA chelation. All the samples exhibited acute toxicity towards the bacter...
متن کاملPCDD/DF in leachates from Korean MSW landfills.
We analyzed levels of PCDD/DF in leachate liquid and solid from five Korean municipal solid waste landfills to investigate the relationship between PCDD/DF and dissolved organic carbon and suspended solids in raw leachate. The concentrations of PCDD/DF ranged from 173.2 to 1329.4 pg/l and 4.1 to 46.22 pg-TEQ/l. The range of PCDD/DF was 123.2-1161.3 pg/l in leachate solid and 50.0-383.3 pg/l in ...
